Theme & Legendary Items

Theme: Fantastic Legendaries and Where to Find Them

Legendary Items:

For everyone who never participated in a Legendary Dungeon before, here’s a quick introduction:

What is the Legendary Dungeon?

In Legendary Dungeons, you fight your way through a labyrinth full of doors. Each level presents you with the choice: right or left?

To participate, you need a character at least level 50, with which you can then enter through the magic portal on the city map. You can choose between two game modes: Legendary Dungeon and Legendary Dungeon Ultimate (we’ll explain that later on). Every Legendary Dungeon comes with its own theme.

When entering a room, choose the left or right door. However, some doors are bricked up or require a key. Over the course of 100 rooms, defeat monsters, collect loot, and find items. A mini-boss appears every 25th room. Defeat the final boss in the 100th room to earn a legendary item. And afterwards? Rinse and repeat.

Combat & Monsters

The Legendary Dungeon has its own combat system; your characters' abilities and gear don’t count. Everyone starts a run with full HP. When fighting monsters, you lose a certain percentage of your HP. If you're down to 0 HP, you have two choices: wait for healing or pay with mushrooms. As soon as you're back on your feet, you continue where you left off. You do not generate HP without running out first.

When you encounter a monster, you can fight (click on the monster) or flee (click on the right side). Defeating monsters rewards you with gold and keys. When fleeing, you might escape without damage.

Legendary Dungeon vs. Legendary Dungeon Ultimate

The gameplay for both game modes works the same. In LD Ultimate, you pay mushrooms to receive more rewards:

  • 3x the amount of resources (buffs and keys are excluded)

  • 3x the amount of gold

  • 3x the amount of legendary items if you defeat the final boss

Rewards, Blessings, and Curses

Behind every door might be a chest full of rewards: gold, resources, items, and more. If you’re especially lucky you might get a blessing (buff), but with a bit of bad luck, you might get a curse (debuff).

You can have up to three blessings or curses at the same time; identical blessings or curses do not stack. All (de)buffs have two tiers and a set number of charges, which decrease through decisions or events.

Legendary Items

Defeating the final boss on the 100th floor guarantees you a legendary item. Every Legendary Dungeon theme has its own set of legendary items.

Gems of Fate

After defeating a mini-boss, they present you with three random Gems of Fate. Each Gem of Fate grants a buff and a debuff that last your entire run, affecting various aspects. Defeat the final boss to break their power. With each dungeon run, you can select new Gems of Fate.

Check our FAQ for more info. Besides a general article, we offer detailed ones on different chests, doors, golden rooms, and regular rooms.

In the days after the event, an in-game survey will go live. We appreciate it if you take a moment to give us feedback!

Thank you, and lots of fun in the Legendary Dungeon!
