Twitch Update: More Droplets & More Stream Freedom

Heroes and Heroines,

we’ve been listening closely to your feedback regarding our Twitch Drops and Droplets system. To make things fairer for our creators and much easier to navigate for our viewers, we are rolling out an update to the Droplets system starting today!

Here is everything you need to know about what’s changing:

Droplets for Every Shakes & Fidget Streamer!

We want to level the playing field and clear up any confusion about who has Droplets enabled. From now on, Droplets will be available to all channels streaming in the Shakes & Fidget category!
How to get them: If you are a streamer and don't have Droplets active on your channel yet, simply reach out to us at creator@playa-games.com to get unlocked! (Note: We are already working on a technical solution to automate this process in the future).

More freedom for viewers: You no longer have to guess who has Droplets enabled. You can simply tune in, support your favorite up-and-coming creators, and collect your rewards!

Stream Time Limits: What You Need to Know

Along with this expansion, we are adjusting our streaming time limits to give creators more flexibility while ensuring the focus remains on active gameplay.

For Droplet Streamers: The previous 4-hour stream limit no longer applies to Droplet streams. You are free to stream SF content as long as you like!
For Drops Streamers: The standard 4-hour limit still stands, but we are introducing a 30-minute buffer to give you a bit more breathing room to wrap up your streams smoothly.
Special Event Extension: During major in-game events—such as the Legendary Dungeon, World Boss, Hellevator, etc.—the stream limit for Drops streamers will be automatically extended to 6 hours!

A Quick Note on Fair Play: We are incredibly excited to see more Shakes & Fidget content on Twitch! However, please remember that the focus of your stream MUST actively be on Shakes & Fidget. AFK streams, or streaming other content while keeping SF minimized just to farm rewards, are strictly forbidden and will result in the removal of your Drops/Droplets.
