Welcome Hero or Heroine
We recently shared our intention to release an extended version of the Arcane Toilet, contingent upon the feature's acceptance by the community. During our recent gathering with Content Creators, we engaged in discussions about feedback, ideas, and the future direction of the game. Unfortunately, the time was too limited to cover all the insights they brought, but we look forward to many more opportunities to delve into their feedback.
Our conversations about the Toilet provided us with a clearer understanding of the community's sentiments and perspectives. Consequently, we followed up with a discussion involving Game Design and the Content Creators. We are excited to share the outcomes of that discussion with you now:
- Only one item will be sacrificeable across all Aura Levels. In the previous beta, there were two items at Aura Level 231 and three items at Aura Level 401.
- During the Tidy Toilet Time event, you have the option to increase the number of sacrificable items to 2.
- Max Aura has been reduced to a scale of 400, down from the previous 500.
- The required Mana remains constant, so it should take approximately the same amount of time to achieve the maximum Aura Level.
- The Pet Unnda can be located from Aura 50, which was previously 75 in the new system, or Aura 20 in the live system (for example, version 25.500).
- To address the growing demand for Smithing Resources, we will implement a two-step approach:
- An increase in sources for Smithing Resources is expected, primarily through the process of Dismantling.
- We are developing additional solutions to enhance the appeal of dismantling.
Further adjustments will be made based on feedback received from the Arcane Toilet beta:
- The weapon damage will now start to decrease slightly from item quality 900, instead of already from item quality 800.
- When the new version of the Arcane Toilet is released, any mana stored in your toilet will be transferred to the new system, unless your Arcane Toilet has already reached Aura Level 66. If you have already reached Aura Level 66, the stored mana will be lost.
We will not conduct another beta test or incorporate these changes into a Plague Doctor Beta. Instead, we will address the issues related to these changes in a version that our internal QA team, the Alpha Group, and the Content Creators will have the opportunity to explore.
