Heroes!

It has been a while since we updated you all on the current status of our development and current focus. The Team is working hard on several features and we hope to be able to show you more of them very soon.

Let's review our current development pipeline and address topics you might wonder about.

Arena Manager

The Arena Manager Rework has been a topic for some time. A while ago we shared plans for an Open Beta, aiming for mid-February. Since it is no longer February, many of you have asked for an update.

The feature is in its second internal alpha with our Alpha Group. The first iteration revealed missing elements and issues we want to fix before the beta release. After testing and evaluating feedback, we will start the open beta. We don't have a fixed date but aim to release this rework soon. Once we have a clear plan, we will share more information.

Today, we share a sneak peek of the new Arena Manager's possible look. We say possible because it may still change before release.

Monster Hunt

We are currently working on a feature, formerly known as “Treasure Hunt”. We mentioned this name in one of our livestreams a while back. It is now developed under the name “Monster Hunt” and we are approaching a first Alpha Version soon. We are still evaluating a lot of things but we aim to have this ready for you early next year.

We will share more information as we approach the release.

Customization

A while ago, we conducted two separate surveys asking for your opinion on a customization feature for your avatar. After the first survey, we adjusted our plans, and the second survey confirmed that most of our playerbase is interested in this feature.

We consider this feature important for the future, but we are not fully focused on it yet. Basic work is underway in the background, but the feature requires significant technical changes to our game. We do not plan a release in 2026.

New Class - Bloodweaver

Recently, a survey invited you to share your class ideas and vote on which class to add next to Shakes & Fidget. The Bloodweaver received the most votes.

Our team is developing this new strength-based class and aims to release it by year-end. For more information about the Bloodweaver, visit our blog.

Since this is a new class, we are already planning on when we can hold a Beta. You will have time to then give us your honest feedback about this new class.

New Dungeon Content

We often hear requests for new dungeons. The team is currently developing visuals for a new dungeon world featuring several dungeons. All classes will appear as enemies, offering a variety of foes to face. We cannot yet provide a release date, but will share details once we have a clear plan. These dungeons will target players between levels 250 and 750.

As with all development, plans may change.

Class “Rework”

The warrior's rework or rebalance is a frequent topic. We acknowledge your feedback and have not forgotten it. Currently, it is not our top priority. First, we aim to introduce all character classes as enemies in the game using our new Dungeon World. This will simplify balancing and reworking classes in the future.

Fusion

Last December, we announced two fusions. Due to technical issues, we postponed them several times. The Black Forest Fusion is now live. We found caching issues but have resolved them.

Beta System

We made many changes to our Beta System. Everyone can now join Open Betas, create multiple characters, and select from various presets to fully test features. We also added Dummy Characters at different levels for combat testing. Surveys now work during Betas, allowing you to complete them directly in the game.

As you can see by now, several of our next features will be available during a Beta Test. We highly recommend you to join us on our Beta Discord Server so you don't miss out on any crucial information on when we go live with a test. 

Miscellaneous

While developing and planning, the team also works on several other topics. We continue to deliver QoL adjustments with our releases, often based on your direct feedback. Feel free to suggest more!

Push Notifications remain an active focus. We won't always announce changes until we are confident they work.

Last year, performance issues during events and new server launches even affected older servers. In late December, we began significant performance updates, often invisible to you. Since then, issues during server starts or events have decreased. Although not perfect, surveys show fewer players face issues during these events.

We will keep improving game performance. Please continue sending reports about issues so we can address them.

We recently added new VIP Packs. Overall, we are satisfied with them but acknowledge considerable feedback on the VIP Premium Pack. We are evaluating data and will examine this feedback closely soon.
