Heroes and Heroines,

For the 17th birthday of Shakes & Fidget, we played a Pen and Paper session last weekend. The Quest team and some of our staff teamed up to create an adventure set in the Shakes & Fidget universe.

Here's a glimpse into our journey:

Lilitha von Finstermoor (Paladin), Nuku Nuku (Plague Doctor), Báldriahn’or (Druid), and Khira (Demon Hunter) set off together on an adventurous journey to the Legendary Dungeon. Shortly after setting out, as they enter the Moldy Forest, they spot a little white bunny at the edge of the woods.

When the bunny tries to introduce itself with an outstretched paw, Lilitha von Finstermoor immediately draws her mace and takes a fighting stance. Visibly intimidated, the bunny begins its stuttering introduction. Báldriahn’or bends down to the bunny and asks it to show its other paw. Smiling, the super cute bunny first hides the outstretched paw behind its furry back and then shows its other paw, as if it were hiding something from the adventurers. Báldriahn’or and Lilitha von Finstermoor exchange a glance. But just as she is about to attack, the bunny beats her to it. It screams loudly: "Not on my watch! En garde!", leaps forward, and strikes Lilitha with its knife with all its might. Her thick shield doesn't mind at all; the far too tiny knife leaves only a small scratch. Khira comes to the rescue, draws her crossbow, and shoots fire arrows at the bunny. As heroic as that must have looked, she still needs to practice her aim. Her grazing shot only leaves a flesh wound. With a crazed look in its eyes, the bunny touches the wound, smears war paint on its face with its own blood, and says: "That's the last time you try that." Unimpressed, Nuku Nuku replies from a safe distance: "You guys got this!" and leans back comfortably on her donkey.
